Slowly
As the
anguish
Of the
knife borrows deeper
Piercing
flesh
And
contracting muscles
Bent
on resisting
The
already inevitable outcome
The
body irrevocably spasms.
The
pain rushes forth
Unabated
And
relentless
The
ripple effect is crippling
The intended
screams
Quickly
muffled
Between
taste of leather
And
metal.
The
eyes flutter
Shock
ridden pupils sink
Ebbing
closer to the darkness
Without
resistance.
There
was no fight remaining
As the
steel slowly leaves the spin
And
the light fades to black
The
body topples over
Drowning
in a pool of its own blood.
